Distributed to charities selected by the Trustee.
Ong Lai Mun Charity Fund is a charitable trust, a set of assets left by Ong Lai Mun based on a note written that indicates to the trustee named Kuan Soo Huey, for the charity of her choice. The assets are held and managed by the trustee since 2019, with some or all interest that the assets produce going to the fund. The Fund does not accept any external donations and all the record of the balance is published officially on this website.

The distribution of the fund shall last through the lifetime of the trustee. As according to Ong Lai Mun's verbally told the idea about not giving all the lum sum, but little by little over long period of time to make minimal impact but long and sustainable duration.

The trustee shall follow, not strictly, on the rule, 70% to charities or needy individuals in Malaysia, 20% to Cancer related chairities in Singapore (for the reason that Ong Lai Mun worked and received cancer treatment in Singapore), and 10% to global charities.

    Ms Ong passed away due to EML4-ALK positive lung cancer.

    OLMCF Started

    RM18,512.63 reserved fund was received by the Trustee.

    First Report Published

    The trustee aim to keep public anounced about the transaction of the funds with transparency. Thus, a Wix site and a Facebook page was built.

    Started Metamask Wallet

    Strive to achieve transparency

    The Trustee strive to provide transparency to all transactions. Due to the small value amount, most of the donees do not provide receipt and tax examption. However, the Trustee kept her personal record of bank transaction. If any evidence is required, do send the Trustee an email to request the transaction evidence.

Beh Swee Cheng is an individual who one day found a stray dog in dire need of help. She is not working under any charitable organization. Funds are collected to pay for the animal transport from the streets to the vets.

MD. TAYUB ABU TALEK

Tayub is a Rohingyan reside in Malaysia. In March 2021, a fire struck the Balukhali Camp. The fund is collected and delivered to Tayub's family relatives at Balukhali to rebuild their camp.
